GOLD STANDARD SERVICES

Gifted Hands Midwifery offers comprehensive and holistic home birth (including water birth) service, and well-woman care and gynecology services. We support women in their health journey every step of the way, from prenatal to postpartum and beyond!

At this time, we do not accept Medicaid.

Well-Woman Care and Gynecology Services include:

  • Yearly physical exam

  • Pelvic exam

  • Annual Pap Smear

  • Preconception counseling

  • Preventative screenings such as - STD testing, diabetes, cholesterol, blood pressure, thyroid

  • Referral to other healthcare professionals as needed.

Comprehensive Home Birth Service Includes:

- Private-Duty, State Licensed, Certified Nurse Midwife - Consultation and Personalized, Holistic Prenatal Care Visits

(Consultations are one hour. Prenatal visits are one hour to an hour and a half)

  • Direct Access to Private Duty Certified Nurse Midwife

  • All Standard Prenatal Labs & Blood Work

  • *Optional* Natera Non-invasive Prenatal Aneuploid (NIPT) Screening

  • *Optional* Early Gender Predictor Testing - 99.9% accurate early gender DNA test, as early as 7 weeks into pregnancy

  • Customizable home birth kit (must be purchased separately)

  • In-Home Birth Team Visit

  • Online Educational Resources

  • Prenatal Herbal Kit

  • Water Birth Tub Rental and Liner

  • Continued Support from Midwife During Hospital Transfer (in the unlikely event transfer is necessary)

  • Childbirth and Breastfeeding Class

  • Home Birth (including meds, IV during labor/birth)

  • 3 Postpartum Care Visits

  • Newborn Care & Screening (including Vitamin K, birth records, birth certificate & social security card)

  • Postpartum Care Herbal Kit

  • Lactation Support

  • Postpartum Pap Smear (if applicable)
